I will never forget the day God spoke to me about writing this book. I was dealing with Catholics every day about the differences between biblical Christianity and Roman Catholicism. As a result, they were convinced that all Roman Catholics are heaven-bound Christians.On both sides, I saw utter deception. And with an eternity in the lake of fire hanging in the balance, the stakes were too high to ignore. But what could I do. Then it happened. Out of nowhere, God dropped an idea into my mind. He instructed me to read the brand new 1994 Catechism of the Catholic Church, and record direct quotes on every major Catholic doctrine. Then I was to take my Bible and record what it said on the same subject. No commentaries. No personal opinions. No hatred. No attacking. Just the undeniable facts. Then put it all together in a book.I could never tell you how many late nights I spent alone with God on this project. And how many times He helped me, led me to the perfect Scriptures, gave me ideas I would otherwise never have thought of... and generally strengthened and guided me through the entire process. Once published, I knew this was God's book, not mine. His message had been delivered to the best of my ability. And the results have shown that it was indeed His work. Many Catholics have written me to thank me, telling me that their eyes were opened after reading it. Many have gotten saved after reading it. Many have left the Catholic church. Bondages have been broken, lives have been changed. Several former Catholics say they led their entire family to Christ and out of Catholicism after reading this book. Many marriages have been restored, and many potentially "unequally yoked" marriages have been avoided.If you are a Catholic, my prayer is that you will set aside the traditions of men you have been taught and allow God to present His Words to you. Don't let your Catholic friends remain lost and headed for hell without at least warning them of their fate. Excellent. I was raised in it, 8 years of parochial school. I was Baby baptised, received first holy communion, and was confirmed by Bishop Deardon before he became Cardinal John Deardon. This author is accurate. Those giving low scores and saying he is misrepresenting are misleading the readers. This author IS telling the truth.
This book is easy to read and to understand ...Too many Catholics think they are saved by "being CAtholic" but they aren't saved. They think they are sad saved by following works, traditions, and doing the 7 sacraments... memorize this book and use it to reach unsaved Catholics who are trusting in "religion" ,traditions, and adhering to man made rules....there is freedom in Christ and if You're cAtholic, you should at least be challenged to see what God's word says about getting saved. Eternal Destination status is the most important decision that any of us can ever make....don't get this one wrong....contrary to what the Catholics teach...once you're dead...it's game over...
This commentary provided me valuable information about Catholicism and helped me to understand what Catholics believe, are taught, and that they are lost if they are basing their "salvation" on traditions promulgated by the hierarchy of the organization. Hopefully I can use what I have derived from this publication to be true light to Catholic friends and acquaintances of mine.
