An amazing story of God's grace. Jojo went from being a gang member sentenced to 45-years-to-life for attempted murder and conspiracy to murder to being a born-again Christian willing to risk his life for refusing to stand with his old gang members in prison. So often we look at people and think they are beyond salvation, but God sees them as His precious children and gives them the same grace, salvation, and eternal life that He gives His children that were cradle Christians. Jojo's story shows that no one is beyond the reach of a loving God.I almost felt guilty for reading this when I did. I give up fiction for Lent and read only Christian nonfiction. This book reads like a page-turner novel and kept me totally engrossed.

This was one of the most heartwrenching stories I've read in years. I used to work with at-risk youth, and Jojo's story gave me hope that some of them might have found the same grace that he did. One day I'd like to hear Dalia's story too. Staying with Jojo all those years and being there for their son when there seemed to be no hope for her husband to come home again must have been a prison of its own.

This is a living testament that no one is beyond God's redemption or grace and that we all can be saved if we only believe. If you reach out to God he will reach out to you in love beyond imagine. A truly spiritual journey to find God and faith may we all find it too. A truly inspiring story. Excellent!

God can change anyone! Great true story for adults. It really picks up after about 30%, but you need the background to appreciate the story. Reinforces the power in God's Word and prayer. Modern day miracles!

I don’t normally read memoirs but this one caught my attention when I spotted it in a deals newsletter I’m subscribed too. Sometimes the truth is stranger than fiction right? If Jojo can turn his life around, anyone can. Gods grace can transform you. As your self every day if you are moving through life with gods grace. Great story, deserves to be heard. Many blessing to the author and his family.

I work in corrections and this rings true. It teters at times on the maudlin and indulgent but he pulls back and keeps things within the bounds of the plausible. As always, he witnesses his own growth and chronicles his own path as an example. It is inspiring and indicative that help is there for those who want to avail themselves of it.

Amazing book. I felt so many emotions while reading this book. I cried, I laughed, and I felt his love for Christ. I have never brought a book to so many places. I finished it pretty quick and all my co-workers were interested in it. Needless to say I told everyone about it and I hope they tell others about it. I am now passing this book on and I'm going to buy at least two more copies to send to friends soon. Thank you so much.

What an inspiring story. I appreciate the real description of how hard it was to return to society as well. How could it be otherwise after conditioning to survive in an evil atmosphere. Yet God used even this.

It is what I expected

Just what we needed for my son's trumpet. His band uses this series of books and when I searched Amazon for the trumpet version, this book came up. However, nowhere in the details or in the picture did it say that it was for the Trumpet. When I received the book, though, it was labeled for the Trumpet. (Each book in this series has the appropriate instrument listed on the line above the title of the book.) Just what we needed.

My son has to have this for band at school, and buying it new just doesn't make sense. This was an amazing price & was shipped quickly & in great condition.

I love Tim Green as an author and decided to read "The Big Time" for that reason alone. I'm not a teen/young adult but I think this sould be required reading in middle school, as the author lived up the to quality of his previous works.Let me step up on my soapbox to say that we're become a society who worships wealth and celebrity above all things, much to our detriment. This book is a primer for any child and/or parent with concerns about how success can change your life, not always for the better, and that sometimes it's not only your enemies that you need to keep closer. Step down. Enjoy!

I have used Quicken for years. Every update is a better version of the previous. We have three bank accounts so it pays to keep track of the checking accounts and Quicken does a great job. I love the "memory", in other words once you enter the data Quicken remembers and auto enters for you. But be careful to change the amounts. As time goes by data entry is faster and faster because of this feature. Charts, budgets, taxes are many other benefits and it all flows into Turbo Tax quite easily. I do recommend you buy the Quicken instruction book if you are a first time user.

It is very nicely done. It has MANY diagrams, pictures and instructive notes throughout. I recently received it so I haven't been able to assess its COMPLETE usefulness. It does have color coded chapter marks on the page edge so once you get an idea of what color you need for particular info, you'll find it quickly. The wide page format makes the book stay open where you need it, but it might be problematic if space is at a premium. All in all I am glad I got because a program as complex and useful as Quicken has LOTS of useful features and they are not all immediately apparent so you'll need a reference source to find them and learn how best to use them.

Needed to stay on top of quicken updates and need reminders once in a while. Handy.

In general I liked this product it is very complete and explanatory.It covers from simples use to extended applications.

- Fairly easy to read- Find the section which describes what you're looking for and follow along.- Color illustrations are helpful.- Pleased with the book, but at this point video tutorials are probably even better.

This is a quality book that I've given to several kids. My grand kids all play baseball but they don't always like baseball books. Both my grandsons and my grand daughter (9 - 12) enjoyed reading this book. There is suspense and lots of action. This book received high reviews from others and I depend upon those reviews. This book has not disappointed me. Keep those reviews going!

Nephews loved it.

He's read many books and listed this as his favorite a couple months after finishing. Usually his favorites only stay his favorites for a couple weeks. There are a couple religious references, for those wondering, nothing significant though. It is an enjoyable book though for both parent and child to read together or for a child that reads at least at a 5thd grade level to read alone.There are also several girls on the baseball team so it isn't necessarily just a story for boys.
